A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON APRIL
17, 2007 TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
AND SALE OF CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS SEWER
CONSTRUCTION REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2007A, FOR THE PURPOSE
OF FINANCING CERTAIN BETTERMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
CITY'S SEWER SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City ")
owns a sewer system (the "System "), which is operated by the
Little Rock Sanitary Sewer Committee (the "Committee "); and
WHEREAS, the Committee has determined that the acquisition,
construction and equipping of certain betterments and
improvements to the System (the "Improvements ") are necessary in
order to make the services of the System adequate for the needs
of the City and its inhabitants; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That April 17, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. shall be
the date and time for a public hearing to consider an Ordinance
authorizing the issuance of up to $67,000,000 in principal
amount of Sewer Construction Revenue Bonds, Series 2007A, for
the purpose of financing the Improvements.
