RESOLUTION NO. 12,468
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN
ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH VOGEL PAINT Et WAX COMPANY, INC. TO PROVIDE
REFLECTIVE PAVEMENT MARKING PAINT FOR THE TRAFFIC CONTROL
SECTION OF PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. C07006, was issued to
provide reflective pavement marking paint, and Vogel Paint Et Wax Company, Inc., submitted the only
responsible and responsive bid for providing such paint.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual
contract with Vogel Paint Et Wax Company, Inc., to provide reflective pavement marking paint for the
Traffic Control Section of the Public Works Department, for an annual cost of Sixty -One Thousand, Six
Hundred Eighty -eight Dollars ($61,688.00).
Section 2: This contract shall be for one year from the date of the award, with the provision
that it may be extended yearly for two (2) additional years upon agreement of both parties.
Section 3. Funds for this contract are allocated from account #204008 - 60160.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
