RESOLUTION NO. 12,464
3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 10,906 TO
4 ESTABLISH A THREE -YEAR TERM FOR ANIMAL SERVICES
5 ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, by adoption of Resolution No. 10,906, the Little Rock Board of
8 Directors established a nine - member Animal Services Advisory Board to review and
9 make recommendations concerning ordinances and issues affecting Little Rock Animal
10 Services, and
11 WHEREAS, pursuant to its bylaws adoption process, the Animal Services
12 Advisory Board approved a three -year term of service for Animal Services Advisory
13 Board members, and
14 WHEREAS, authorization by the Little Rock Board of Directors is required to
15 establish the recommended three -year term of service for Animal Services Advisory
16 Board members.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby amends Little Rock Resolution No.
20 10,906, as amended, to establish a three -year term of service for Little Rock Animal
21 Services Advisory Board members.
22 Section 2. Accordingly, the current terms of the Little Rock Animal Services
23 Advisory Board shall be three years. Any Animal Services Advisory Board term that
24 has expired prior to the date of approval of this resolution shall not be affected hereby.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
26 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or

1 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
2 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
3 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
4 resolution.
5 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
6 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
7 of such inconsistency.
