RESOLUTION NO. 12,404
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH AMR CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
5 NEW ALERT CENTER AT 500 EAST 21ST STREET; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for construction of a new Alert Center
9 at 500 East 21St Street, the site of the former neighborhood Alert Center, and AMR
10 Construction submitted the most responsible and responsive bid in the amount of
11 One Hundred Forty -three Thousand, Four Hundred Forty -four Dollars ($143,444.00);
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
15 into a contract with AMR Construction, in the amount of One Hundred Forty -three
16 Thousand, Four Hundred Forty -four Dollars ($143,444.00).
17 Section 2. Funding for this project is available in Account 210- 216 -13334.
18 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
19 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
20 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the
21 remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
22 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of
23 the resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,
25 that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the
26 extent of such inconsistency.
