3 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 6, 2006, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF AN
5 UNIMPROVED 20 -FOOT ALLEY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 1,
6 BELLEVUE ADDITION, INCLUDING THE UTILITY AND
7 DRAINAGE EASEMENTS), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
11 Board of Directors vacate and abandon a portion of an unimproved 20 -foot alley within
12 Block 1, Bellevue Addition, including the utility and drainage easements, pursuant to its
13 general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little
14 Rock.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
18 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
19 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 511, day of December, 2006.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
23 in the City of Little Rock.
