RESOLUTION NO. 12,329
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH GLOVER'S TRUCK PARTS AND
5 EQUIPMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 12 CUBIC YARD
6 DUMP TRUCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department is in need of one (1) 12 cubic yard
9 dump truck, and
10 WHEREAS, this dump truck will replace an older 10 cubic yard dump truck
11 with high mileage and high maintenance expenses, and
12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the 12 cubic
13 yard dump truck, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from
14 Glover's Truck Parts and Equipment in the amount of Seventy -one Thousand, Fourteen
15 Dollars ($71,014.00)
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into a contract for the purchase of one (1) 12 cubic yard dump truck, for the amount of
20 Seventy -one Thousand, Fourteen Dollars ($71,014.00).
21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from 2006 Public Works
22 Short Term Financing Account.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
26 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
