CBC_01 25 2024MEETING MINUTES
The City Beautiful Commission held a planned meeting at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25,
2024, at Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 West 12th Street. Simultaneously
the meeting was virtually held online using the WebEx format. Chairman Steven Homeyer called
the meeting to order.

APPROVAL OF THE DECEMBER MEETING MINUTES:
Roll call showed eight (8) commissioners present. Having a quorum, Chairman Homeyer called
the meeting to order, and asked for approval of the previous meeting minutes.
Motion: A motion was made that the December 28, 2023, minutes be approved.
Second: The motion was seconded, and it passed unanimously.

No report. Attempting to locate Commission bank accounts.

The next cleanup will be 2.17.24, meet at Senor Tequila at 8:00am.

T.R.E.E. Fund:
No report. We are waiting for word on the Girl Scout project cost to determine our contribution.
NEW BUSINESS:
•Landscape Awards need to be presented to the winners. Discussion on when and where to be
determined. Staff will coordinate with the winners on dates and times.
•Approved 2024 Meeting Calendar.
•Introduction of new commissioners, Roudy Neree and Dax Chance. Discussion about
Commission vacancies and upcoming renewals. Staff will investigate with the City Clerk’s
Office.
•Announcement for the CBC Retreat on February 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm; 2300 Cottondale Lane,
Suite 300, Little Rock, AR.
•A question was asked about David’s Burgers’ landscape variance. Staff will investigate.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Discussed what CBC does with new members.
ADJOURNMENT:
Chairman Homeyer entertained a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Second: The motion was seconded, and it passed unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 pm.
