SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION
1. SAW CUT EXISTING ASPHALT IN AREAS OF NEW
CONSTRUCTION & NEW PARKING LOT ISLANDS. BEGIN
BUILDING RENOVATION.
2. INSTALL STORM DRAIN LINES AND OTHER UTILITY LINES.
BACK FILL LINES WITH CLASS 7 GRAVEL IN PAVED AREAS.
INSTALL DROP INLET SILT FENCES.
3. BEGIN GRADING OPERATION. INSTALL CURB AND
GUTTER.
4. MAINTAIN ANY DIVERSIONS TO ROUTE ALL WATER TO
DROP INLET LOCATIONS.
5. COMPLETE BUILDING RENOVATION.
6. FINE GRADE ENTIRE SITE, AND COMPLETE PAVING
OPERATIONS.
7. INSTALL SOD, VEGETATION, AND PROCEED WITH FINAL
SITE STABILIZATION. WATER ALL GRASSED AREAS.
8. INSPECT AND RESOD ALL DISTURBED AREAS AS
NECESSARY. UPON FINAL SITE STABILIZATION, CLEAN SILT
FROM BEHIND ALL SEDIMENT FENCES AND DITCH CHECKS,
AND REMOVE ALL TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL DEVICES.
EROSION CONTROL NOTES:
1. SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES MUST BE INSPECTED AND
MAINTAINED REGULARLY IN ORDER TO INSURE THAT THE
INTENDED PURPOSES ARE ACCOMPLISHED.
2. ALL DISTURBED AREAS NOT INTENDED FOR PAVING SHALL
BE SODDED OR SEEDED AS PER LANDSCAPE PLAN.
3. STABILIZATION REQUIREMENTS: (NOT NECESSARILY
VEGETATION) ALL PERIMETER CONTROLS ARE TO BE
STABILIZED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF INSTALLATION. ALL OTHER
DISTURBED AREAS ARE TO BE STABILIZED WITHIN 14 DAYS.
4. TEMPORARY SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES SHALL BE
MAINTAINED UNTIL ALL CONTRIBUTING AREAS ARE GRADED
AND STABILIZED.
5. EXCAVATED EARTH SHALL BE PILED ON THE HIGH SIDE OF
EXCAVATIONS.
6. EROSION CONTROL MEASURES WILL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL
TIMES. IF FULL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE APPROVED PLAN
DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR EFFECTIVE EROSION CONTROL,
ADDITIONAL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES
SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED TO CONTROL OR TREAT THE
SEDIMENT SOURCE.
7. THE ESCAPE OF SEDIMENT FROM THE SITE SHALL BE
PREVENTED BY THE INSTALLATION OF EROSION AND SEDIMENT
CONTROL MEASURES AND PRACTICES PRIOR TO, OR
CONCURRENT WITH, LAND -DISTURBING ACTIVITIES.
8. APPLY WATER TO AREAS OF EXPOSED SOIL ON THE SITE
AS NEEDED TO CONTROL DUST AND AIRBORNE POLLUTANTS.
