The Home Depot is submitting a Conditional Use Permit Application in response to the Courtesy Notice
of violation of the Little Rock Code of Ordinance Section Z-5668 CUP, for the Home Depot store located
at 12610 Chenal Parkway. The subject site is currently Zoned C-3 General Commercial. This CUP
Application is being submitted to allow for the use of existing parking stalls to be striped and designated
as storage/display for the following uses: Penske Rental Trucks, compact power equipment, and shed
display. Sixteen (16) stalls are being proposed for designation of Penske Rental Trucks. The Penske
Rental Truck operations and transaction occur through the Tool Rental Center (TRC). Ten (10) stalls are
being proposed for designation of compact power equipment to display. Compact power equipment
rental transactions also occur the store's Tool Rental Center - see attached list of sample compact power
equipment that the TRC may rent. Finally, twelve (1) stalls are being proposed for designation of shed
display area.
The Home Depot looks forward in working with the City of Little Rock on an approval for the proposed
Uses.

In further review of the parking code, the attached Plan now accurately reflects the guidelines for calculating parking. In
addition, we reviewed the "storage area' with the store and this is not permanent storage. The area is actually
temporary for "seasonal sales". Therefore, those stalls were not previously reflected in the parking count and now have
been included.
With that said, the attached Plan now meets the requirements for parking and a Variance will not be needed. I will have
4 copies of the updated Plan mailed to you today so that you receive by next Wednesday 4/24.

Our Firm is providing this resubmittal in response to the comments provided at the Subdivision
Committee Meeting on 4/17/19 at 12 PM.
The proposed Penske parking stalls have been relocated out of the Easement area. With this relocation
there are now fifteen (15) stalls being proposed for Penske rental trucks.
