The placement of a multisectional
manufactured home to replace
existing mobile home.
This site is located south of the intersection of Taylor
Loop Road and Gooch Lane.
2. CoMpatibility Compatibilitywith Neighborhood
This proposal is compatible with the neighborhood. There
are other mobile homes in the area along with some frame
structured houses.
3. On -Site Drives and Parkin
There exists an unpaved driveway that accesses Gooch Lane.
The site also contains a parking area adjacent to the
proposed manufactured home.
4. screening and Buffers
The applicant is proposing to use the existing screening and
buffers.
5. City Engineer Comments
There are none to be reported.
6. Analysis
Presently, the applciant is living in a 12 feet by 40 feet
single wide mobile home. It is the desire of the applicant
to replace the single wide mobile home with a 28 feet by
52 feet double wide manufactures home. The new mobile home
will have a permanent foundation with proper underpinning.
Staff feels that the request before the Commission will be
an added improvement to the area.

7. Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of the Conditional Use Permit
subject to the applicant meeting the Building Codes
requirements.

The applicant was present. Staff had some concerns as to whether
Gooch Lane was a dedicated right-of-way. The applicant stated
that Gooch Lane was dedicated several years ago by order of the
county judge. No other discussion took place. This item was
sent on to the full Commission for action.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
(DECEMBER 3, 1991)
The applicant was in attendance. There were no objectors
present. A motion was made to approve the Conditional Use Permit
per the staff's recommendation. As part of the Consent Agenda,
the motion passed by a vote of 10 ayes, a noes and 1 absent.
