The Suburban Development Plan shows this area for multifamily development, and Staff thought that a plan change had been implemented when the earlier zoning decisions were made. However, investigation revealed that a plan change was'contemplated following a - restudy of this area, and the study was made but not acted upon. Staff does believe that a plan change is indicated and that the previously established land use pattern is more logical than that shown onthe plan. The needed plan amendment will be forthcoming in the next month. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval. COMMISSION ACTION: The applicant was present, and there were no objectors. After a brief discussion, the Commission moved to approve the application as filed. The motion passed: 8 ayes, 0 noes and 3 absent.
