ORDINANCE NO. 19,402
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR KANIS ROAD; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances is amended to provide
for a five -year deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for Bob
Hale representing the Briarwood Animal Hospital at 8422 Kanis Road.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct
roadway improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be
deferred for a period of five years or until adjacent development occurs. The
specific deferral is for widening and improving of Kanis Road to arterial street
standards.
Subsection b. A dedication of right -of -way 45 feet from centerline will be
required for Kanis Road.
Section 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
