3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH MOBLEY
4 CONTRACTORS, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIVE
5 HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED FORTY-
6 FOUR AND 34/100 DOLLARS ($588,344.34), FOR THE 13TH STREET
7 BRIDGE REPAIR PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,bids were solicited for 13th Street Bridge Repair Project No. 1-17-ST-56B, Bid No. 1558;
10 and,
11 WHEREAS, Mobley Contractors, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
12 specifications.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Mobley Contractors,
16 Inc., for the 13th Street Bridge Repair Project in an amount not to exceed Five Hundred Eighty-Eight
17 Thousand, Three Hundred Forty-Four and 34/100 Dollars($588,344.34), which is the base bid amount of
18 Four Hundred Ninety Thousand, Two Hundred Eighty-Six and 95/100 Dollars ($490,286.95), plus 20%
19 contingencies.
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the '/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
21 Use Tax Funds and the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by
22 Resolution No. 14,803.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
