zoned 11D11 Residence; requesting variance permit to
remodel axisting cafe.
Mr. Stewart was present and he stated that ine wants to add on
to his building - it is a little small. He will clean it up too. The
type of building he has is a cafe. Mr. Baldwin rerArked that the
Central. Plying Service is next to it which is a large building. Mir.
Stewart's cafe is beyond the air port about a block and a half.
Mr. Baldwin made a motion it be granted; seconded by Mr.
Anderson. The notion carried.

Mr. Cockrill was preso_1-11, also a representative of the company.
Mr, Cockrill said he wants to ei,a rwi en the rezoning which is to come before
Council Monday night. They want just enough space for a warehouse.
There were three ladies pro. -ant to oppose this application. They
thought the coM sany was applying; for Light Industrial. They thins it will
depreciate the value of their property. They have lived there for wears
0-nd years, and have spent a good mrt of their lives there. They were
told? that the wn.rehouse wo,_L.d be built drawn toward the railroad - not
north toward 5th atract, and the building wil! be Smalls One of the
ladies wanted to know which route the trucks would t.nl e. She was told
they would come in through 7th Street and double back. The opponents

Some disouzaien was had by the members whether or not the
granting of the pplication wo-t-ild affect ti-e property owmd by the
Protestants. They agreed that since their home are close to the
railroad it would net and the location is a likely place for a business
of this sort. Mr. Baldwin moved it be granted; seconded by Mr. person,

Mr, Green was present and he stated that hs intends to tens
down the canopy and malke his place open air. Fie will dress up this ;rant
of it. The south side is the only place he wants waiver. The now part

Mr. Johnson was present. He stated that he has a small house
he wants to move on it. Mr. Baldwin explained that the Adams Addition
is platted in 25' lots, Mr. Johnson said he -has two vasaut lots. Mr.
