OF THE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Board of Adjustment met in the Council Chamber, Monday,
January 15, 1951, at 2:00 P. M., with the following members pre-
sent:
Mr. Warren Baldwin
Miss Emily Penton
Mr. Bruce Anderson
Mr. John P. DuVal attended the meeting also, and Mr. Baldwin
acted as Chairman.
Docket No. 1-51 Dr. Vida H. Gordon, 2616 Kavanaugh, described
as Lot 9, Block 17, Pulaski Heights Addition, Zoned 'IF" Commer-
cial District; requesting waiver of front yard space in order
to construct a garage.
Petition was granted if plans approved by City Engineer.
Docket 3-51 I. V. Gallegly, 51, Normandy, described as
t, Lot North half of Lots 5 and 6, Block 1, Springdale Addi-
tion, Zones "A" One -Family District; requesting waiver of
yard space to permit construction of an attached garage as
shown on the plat.
Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Keilch, 1607 Kavanaugh, next door neighbors
protested building stating that it would block their view, but
petition was granted by waiver of yard space to permit construc-
tion of attached garage.
Docket 42-50 B. D. Henry, 521 Rock Street, described as
Lot West 851 of Lot 6 and West 85' of the South 101 of Lot
5, Block 150, Original City Addition, Zoned "Da Apartment
District; requesting waiver of back and side yard space re-
quirements. Wished to make an addition to existing Apartment
Building.
Mr. Henry was present to explain his plans. Petition of
Mr. Henry was denied.
Docket No. 34-50 R. M. Traylor, 205 West 2nd Street, property
under consideration located, 701 E. Roosevelt Road, described
as Lot 2, Rapley Estate Addition, Zoned "B" Residence District;
requesting permission to erect a tourist court. This case was
re -opened for approval to eliminate 36 garages as shown on orig-
inal plans.
Permission was granted to proceed without the 36 garage openings.

The case of Herbert Stoertz was held until the next meeting
to complete information required by the board.
Since there was no further business, the Board adjourned.
