ORDINANCE NO. 19,384
3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON A PORTION OF COBB STREET,
4 LOCATED NORTH OF WEST 22ND STREET AND SOUTH OF WEST
5 21ST STREET, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS A PUBLIC
6 RIGHT -OF -WAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon a portion of Cobb Street, located
9 North of West 22nd Street and South of West 21s' Street, pursuant to the City's general
10 police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
11 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this public right -
12 of -way will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners nor the local
13 traffic, and therefore, the right -of -way abandoned by this ordinance is no longer needed
14 for corporate purposes.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
16 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
18 portion of Cobb Street, located North of West 22nd Street and South of West 21s' Street,
19 together with the right of public in general, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
20 Arkansas.
21 Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed
22 in the real estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder of
23 Pulaski County, Arkansas.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
25 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid
26 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining

portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
ordinance.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same
that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the
extent of such inconsistency.
