AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF
MASTER STREET PLAN CONSTRUCTION
REQUIREMENTS FOR CANTRELL ROAD
AND KENTUCKY STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
two year deferral of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for Southern
Automotive on the south side of Cantrell Road at Kentucky Street.
Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
improvements and dedicate right -of -way to the requirements of the Master Street
Plan will be deferred for a period of two years to correspond with the term of the
temporary planned commercial development for the site. The specific deferral is
for widening and improving Cantrell Road to arterial standards and Kentucky
Street to minor commercial standards.
Subsection b. Any future site redevelopment must comply with Master Street
Plan requirements.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
