RESOLUTION NO. 129068
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY
AT 18 EDGEMONT DRIVE FOR FLOOD MITIGATION PURPOSES;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, this structure is located within the 100 year flood plain and has a
minimum finished floor below the base flood elevation and;
WHEREAS, this structure has had repetitive flood losses;
WHEREAS, a flood mitigation assistance grant was awarded to the City from the
Federal Emergency Management Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute contracts and to purchase
for demolition the property at 18 Edgemont Drive for purpose of flood mitigation in the
total project amount of $71,330.00.
Section 2. Funding for the City's share of this matching grant project is
$17,832.50 and is available from account number 215 - 220 -Z021.
SECTION 3. The resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
