3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 6, 2005, AS THE DATE
4 OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A 10' BY
5 300' UNDEVELOPED, UNNAMED STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY
6 ADJACENT TO 8625 WESTWOOD AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF
7 LITTLE ROCK AS A PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
11 Board of Directors vacate and abandon a 10 feet by 300 feet undeveloped, unnamed
12 street right -of -way adjacent to 8625 Westwood Avenue, pursuant to its general police
13 power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
17 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
18 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 61" day of September, 2005.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
20 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
21 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
22 in the City of Little Rock.
