3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRECISION DELTA CORPORATION, IN
5 THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND, FOUR
6 HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($260,462.50) DOLLARS,
7 FOR THE BULK PURCHASE OF PRACTICE AND DUTY AMMUNITION
8 FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
9 PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department be equipped and trained with reliable
12 tools and equipment; and,
13 WHEREAS, the bulk purchase of 585,000 rounds of .40 caliber; 26,000 rounds of 9mm; 245,000
14 rounds of 5.56mm;and,2,500 rounds of 12 gauge 00 buckshot practice and duty ammunition from Precision
15 Delta Corporation, will be utilized by the Little Rock Police Department and for the In-Service Training,
16 Annual Qualifications, Traditional Recruit Schools, one (1) COATS Recruit Class, two (2) Pistol
17 Qualifications,along with Remedial and Specialized Firearms Training; and,
18 WHEREAS,Vendor selection of Precision Delta Corporation, was made through State Contract No.
19 4600050105.
20 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Precision Delta Corporation
23 for the purchase of 585,000 rounds of.40 caliber;26,000 rounds of 9mm;245,000 rounds of 5.56mm;and,
24 2,500 rounds of 12 gauge 00 buckshot practice and duty ammunition in the amount of Two Hundred Sixty
25 Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty Two and 50/100 Dollars($260,462.50), including taxes.
26 Section 2. Funding for this purchase is available from the Little Rock Police Department's General
27 Account No. 105220-60050.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
34 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
