3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 1,2022,AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE JACK STEPHENS
5 DRIVE RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-
6 WAY LINE OF PLATEAU STREET TO TILE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY
7 LINE OF WEST 6TH STREET, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
8 ARKANSAS(G-23-481); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
11 abandon the Jack Stephens Drive right-of-way located from the south right-of-way line of Plateau Street to
12 the south right-of-way line of West 6th Street.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
15 Section 1.The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held at
16 a meeting of the Board of Directors that will start at 6:00 PM on the 1' day of February 2022,at The Centre
17 at University Park,6401 West 12th Street,Little Rock,Arkansas.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
19 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
20 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
27 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
