RESOLUTION NO. 15,361
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SMART FORD, FOR A TOTAL PURCHASE
5 PRICE OF ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, TWO
6 HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS ($167,220.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF
7 FIVE (5) FORD F-250 4X4 CREW CAB TRUCKS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
8 FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Fire Department has a need to purchase five (5) F-250 Ford 4x4 Crew
11 Cab Trucks for use as Quick Response Vehicles; and,
12 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through a formal bid process, Event No. 1052; and,
13 WHEREAS, after a competitive selection process that fifty-one (5 1) vendors received notification
14 based on the commodity code selection, Smart Ford was the only responsive bidder for an amount not to
15 exceed One Hundred Sixty -Seven Thousand, Two Hundred Twenty Dollars ($167,220.00).
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Smart Ford for the purchase
19 of five (5) F-250 Ford 4x4 Crew Cab Trucks for use as Quick Response Vehicles for an amount not to
20 exceed One Hundred Sixty -Seven Thousand, Two Hundred Twenty Dollars ($167,220.00).
21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Special Projects Account No. 108129-
22 72300-S10G044.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
