3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($150,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR
7 THE PURCHASE OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) WATCHGUARD CAMERAS
8 AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK DEPARTMENT,
9 UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT PURCHASING
10 AGREEMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, Fleet Services Department has a need to equip the Little Rock Police Department's
13 twenty-five(25)newly-leased SUV's with WatchGuard Cameras and Accessories; and,
14 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made through utilization of Arkansas State Contract No. SP-16-
15 0128 for the purchase at a total cost of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($150,000.00),plus applicable
16 taxes and fees.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
20 Motorola Solutions, Inc., for the purchase of twenty-five (25) cameras and accessories for an amount not
21 to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($150,000.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Special Project Account No.
23 108609-72300-S60C239.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
