15324 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,324 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND 6 DOLLARS ($130,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR 7 THE PURCHASE OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) MOBILE RADIO SYSTEMS 8 FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE 9 ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND 10 FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department is in need of twenty-five(25)Mobile Radio Systems 13 to support the equipping for service of newly-leased SUV Patrol Vehicles;and, 14 WHEREAS,by utilizing the Arkansas State Contract,the Little Rock Police Department can purchase 15 twenty-five (25) Mobile Radio Systems from Motorola Solutions, Inc., to equip the newly-leased Patrol 16 Vehicles for the total cost of One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars($130,000.00), plus applicable taxes 17 and fees. 18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State 21 Contract to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions,Inc.,for the purchase of twenty-five(25)Mobile 22 Radio Systems to equip the newly-leased SUV Patrol Vehicles at a total cost of One Hundred Thirty 23 Thousand Dollars($130,000.00),plus applicable taxes and fees. 24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Special Project Account No. 25 108609-72300-S60C239. 26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 4. Repealer.
