3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP,
5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO TWO MILLION, FOUR HUNDRED
6 NINETEEN THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO AND 55/100
7 DOLLARS ($2,419,732.55), FOR THE FOR PRATT REMMEL ROAD
8 EXTENSION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for improvements for the Pratt Rem mel Road Extension, Lindsey
11 Road to Frazier Pike,and improvements to Frazier Pike, Bid No. 1008;and.
12 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone Construction
17 Group, Inc., for the Pratt Remmel Road Extension Improvement Project in an amount not to exceed Two
18 Million, Four Hundred Nineteen Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty-Two and 55/100 Dollars
19 ($2,419,732.55), which is the base bid amount of Two Million, Sixteen Thousand, Four Hundred Forty-
20 Three and 79/100 Dollars($2,016,443.79),plus 20%contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from a grant thru the Delta Regional Authority,with local funds
22 match from Pulaski County and City of Little Rock. The Little Rock share is from the Job
23 Recruitment/Economic Development set-aside from the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and
24 Compensating Use Tax.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
