3 A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 2, 2020, AS THE
4 DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON
5 SEVERAL EASEMENTS WITHIN THE VERNON PLACE ADDITION,
6 WALLACE BASELINE ACRES ADDITION AND BRIMSON'S REPLAT,
7 LOCATED GENERALLY NORTH OF VERNON ESTATES DRIVE AND
8 EAST OF CHICOT ROAD, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
9 ARKANSAS (G-24-056); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
12 abandon several easements within the Vernon Place Addition, Wallace Baseline Acres Addition and
13 Brimson's Replat, located generally north of Vernon Estates Drive and east of Chicot Road, within the
14 City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned easement shall be held at a
18 meeting of the Board of Directors at its meeting that will start at 6:00 PM on the 2nd day of November
19 2020, at the Robinson Center, William Grant Still Ballroom, 426 West Markham Street, Little Rock,
20 Arkansas.
21 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
22 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
23 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are
30 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
