RESOLUTION NO. 12,276
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH VULCAN ALUMINUM, FOR THE
5 PURCHASE OF ALUMINUM SIGN BLANK MATERIALS FOR THE
6 TRAFFIC CONTROL SECTION OF PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT;
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
9 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for the annual contract for aluminum
10 sign blank materials for construction of traffic control and information signs, and
11 Vulcan Aluminum, submitted the most responsive and responsible bid in the amount of
12 Fifty -Four Thousand, One Hundred Eighteen and 85/100 Dollars ($54,118.85).
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
16 into a contract with Vulcan Aluminum for aluminum sign blank materials for the
17 Traffic Control Section of Public Works Department, in the amount of Fifty -Four
18 Thousand, One Hundred Eighteen and 85/100 Dollars ($54,118.85).
19 Section 2. Funds for this purpose are to be allocated from Account No. 200 -220-
20 2250 -2150.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
22 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
23 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
24 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
25 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.

Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
