3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO LASITER
4 CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR RIVER CEMENT RD. (LINDSEY RD. TO
5 UNICEM DRIVEWAY) CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, bids were solicited under Bid No. 06 -230 for the streetscape
9 improvements for River Cement Rd. (Lindsey Rd. to Unicem Driveway), and
10 WHEREAS, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible bid in
11 the amount of $241,018.80 ($219,108.00 plus 10% contingencies).
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
15 Lasiter Construction, Inc. for street reconstruction for River Cement Rd. (Lindsey Rd. to
16 Unicem Driveway in the amount of $241,018.80 ($219,108.00 plus 10% contingencies).
17 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds are available in Account No. 3314 - 220 -SR21.
18 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
19 of its adoption.
