3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CISNEROS FAMILY CONSTRUCTION,
5 LLC, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE HUNDRED ELEVEN
6 THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED NINETY-TWO DOLLARS ($311,592.00),
7 FOR THE HOWARD & 22ND STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT
8 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,bids were solicited for the Howard&22"d Street Drainage Improvements Project No. 01-
11 1-DR-8,Bid No.983; and,
12 WHEREAS,Cisneros Family Construction,LLC,was the lowest responsive,responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Cisneros Family
17 Construction, LLC, for the Howard & 22"d Street Drainage Improvements, in an amount not to exceed
18 Three Hundred Eleven Thousand,Five Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars($311,592.00),which is the base bid
19 amount of Two Hundred Fifty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Sixty Dollars ($259,660.00), plus 20%
20 contingencies
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the %-Cent Capital Improvement Sales Funds and the
22 Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,803.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
