RESOLUTION NO. 12,257
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANTRIP CONSTRUCTION TO
5 PROVIDE SERVICES FOR PHASE II RENOVATION OF FIRE
6 STATION #16; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the 2004 Capital Improvement Bond issue approved by the voters of
9 the City of Little Rock provided funds for the renovation of twenty of the City's fire
10 stations, and
11 WHEREAS, Fire Station #16, located at 10502 Southridge Drive, was one of the
12 stations included for the improvements as part of the renovation project, and
13 WHEREAS, Phase I renovation was completed on Fire Station #16 last year and
14 Phase II work will complete renovation of the station, including upgrade of the kitchen
15 and amenities, dormitory, engine room and drive, and related facilities.
16 WHEREAS, an invitation was issued for Phase II renovation of Fire Station #16,

and Lantrip
Construction submitted the most responsive and
responsible bid in the

amount of
Two Hundred Ninety -five, Seven Hundred
Seventy -seven Dollars
19 ($295,777.00).
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
21 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
23 into a contract with Lantrip Construction, in the amount of Two Hundred Ninety -five
24 Thousand, Seven Hundred Seventy -seven Dollars ($295,777.00)., for the renovation of
25 Fire Station #16, at 10502 Southridge Drive.
26 Section 2. This project will be funded from 2004 Bond Projects Fund.

1 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
2 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
3 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
4 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
5 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
6 resolution.
7 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
8 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
9 of such inconsistency.
