RESOLUTION NO. 12,255
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH XEROX FOR THE
5 RENTAL OF A COLOR COPIER FOR THE PRINT SHOP; AND
6 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the current rental agreement of the color copier for the Print Shop
9 expires in April, and
10 WHEREAS, the current copier is five years old, has a copy speed of 12 copies per
11 minute and a rental price of $2,026.00 per month, and
12 WHEREAS, the proposed copier has a copy speed of 50 copies per minute and a
13 rental price of $2,149.00 per month, and
14 WHEREAS, the proposed copier will allow for increased productivity in the
15 Print Shop at minimal cost.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into a contract with Xerox for the rental of a color copier for the Print Shop for the
20 amount of $2,149.00 per month.
21 Section 2. Funding for this contract is available in the Print Shop budget.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
23 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
24 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
25 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
26 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.

1 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
2 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
3 of such inconsistency.
