BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL MEETING
City Hall — 500 W. Markham
January 31, 2006
4:00 PM
The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas met in a special session with
Mayor Dailey presiding. Nancy Wood, City Clerk, called the roll with the following
directors present: Pugh, Keck, Wyrick, Stewart, Hurst, Cazort, Hinton, Adcock,
Kumpuris, Vice Mayor Graves, and Mayor Dailey. Director Adcock gave the invocation,
which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Executive Session — Yearly evaluations of the City Manager and the City Attorney.
Director Cazort made a motion which was seconded by Director Hinton, that the Board
enters executive session. By unanimous voice vote, of the Board members present, being
two - thirds in number, the meeting went into executive session at 5:15PM.
The Board reconvened at 6:25PM. Mayor Dailey announced that the Board appreciates
all of the work and effort of the City Manager, Bruce Moore, and City Attorney, Tom
Carpenter. He thanked them for everything and announced that they would both be given
a 2 �/2 percent pay raise, which is what the other City employees have been given. He
explained that this percentage would be retroactive to January 1, 2006. Director Cazort
made a motion, seconded by Director Hurst to increase their pay raise to 2 1/2 percent. By
unanimous voice vote, of the Board members present, being two - thirds in number, the
pay increase was approved.
Director Cazort, seconded by Director Hurst, made the motion to adjourn. By unanimous
voice vote, of the Board members present, being two - thirds in number, the meeting was
adjourned at 6:30PM.
