3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 21, 2006, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON PORTIONS OF
5 UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN
6 LOTS 15,16A AND 16R, TOWNE OAKS ADDITION, LOCATED AT
7 THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF RODNEY PARHAM AND
8 RESERVOIR ROADS, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS PUBLIC
9 RIGHT-OF-WAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
12 Board of Directors vacate and abandon portions of utility and drainage easements
13 located within Lots 15, 16A and 16R, Towne Oaks Addition, located at the Northwest
14 corner of Rodney Parham and Reservoir Roads, as public right-of-way, pursuant to its
15 general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104, in the City of Little
16 Rock.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned
20 right-of-way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
21 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 21St day of February, 2006.
22 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
23 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
24 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
25 in the City of Little Rock.
