15272 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,272 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 1,2020,AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC 4 HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ABANDONMENT OF A SIXTY(60)-FOOT 5 UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED AT 16801 CHENAL 6 PARKWAY,LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, KRS Parcel, LLC (KRS), is'the owner of certain real property located at 16801 Chenal 9 Parkway,Little Rock, Arkansas; and, 10 WHEREAS, KRS has submitted a Petition for Abandonment of a Utility Easement to facilitate the 11 redevelopment of the property; and, 12 WHEREAS,all proper statutory procedures for such an abandonment have been met and the issue is ripe 13 for consideration by the Board of Directors. 14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF 15 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. A public hearing concerning the abandonment of a sixty (60)-foot Utility and Drainage 17 Easement reserved by the City of Little Rock as recorded in Instrument No. 90 53247 in the Pulaski County 18 Clerk's Office,will be held by the Board of Directors at its meeting that will start at 6:00 PM on the 1st day of 19 September 2020, at the Robinson Center, William Grant Still Ballroom, 426 West Markham Street, Little 20 Rock,Arkansas. At the public hearing,all interested persons shall have the opportunity to be heard concerning 21 the abandonment of the Utility and Drainage Easement. 22 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by 23 law by publication once a week for two(2)consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, 24 Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word 26 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication 27 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the 28 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
