15254 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,254 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CONVERGEONE,AT AN ANNUAL COST OF 5 FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE AND 70/100 6 DOLLARS ($55,685.70), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR 7 THE ANNUAL RENEWAL OF CISCO EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE 8 FOR THE CITY'S CORE NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE; AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department needs to renew the Cisco Equipment 12 Maintenance Contract for the City's Core Network Infrastructure to provide maintenance, service and 13 support;and, 14 WHEREAS, the contract shall be awarded to ConvergeOne under the Arkansas State Contract No. 15 AR233; and, 16 WHEREAS,the maintenance provides service and support of the City's Core Network Infrastructure 17 at a yearly cost of Fifty-Five Thousand, Six Hundred Eighty-Five and 70/100 Dollars ($55,685.70) plus 18 applicable taxes and fees. 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with ConvergeOne for an annual 22 cost of Fifty-Five Thousand, Six Hundred Eighty-Five and 70/100 Dollars ($55,685.70), plus applicable 23 taxes and fees,by utilizing Arkansas State Contract No.AR233 with a contract term ending July 31,2021. 24 Section 2. Funds for the renewal cost of the yearly contract will be paid from the Information 25 Technology Department's Annual Operating Budget,Account No. 103030-61350. 26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 4. Repealer.
