15248 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,248 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND, TWO 6 HUNDRED SEVENTY-TWO AND 38/100 DOLLARS ($206,272.38), FOR 7 THE PURCHASE OF A DURAPACK 5000 REAR LOADER FOR THE 8 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT SOLID WASTE DIVISION AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division has a need to purchase a new 12 Durapack 5000 Rear Loader to replace a unit that was deemed totaled by the Arkansas Municipal League 13 after being involved in an accident; and, 14 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Sourcewell Contract No. 15 112014-THC; and, 16 WHEREAS,the total cost for the purchase is Two Hundred Six Thousand, Two Hundred Seventy- 17 Two and 38/100 Dollars($206,272.38). 18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into an agreement with River City 21 Hydraulics,Inc., in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Six Thousand,Two Hundred Seventy-Two and 22 38/100 Dollars($206,272.38), for the purchase of a Durapack 5000 Rear Loader to be used by the Public 23 Works Department Solid Waste Division. 24 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Public Works Solid Waste Collections Account 25 No. 603110-72300. 26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 4. Repealer.
