15239 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,239 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CAR WASH SERVICE CONTRACT, FOR A TOTAL COST OF 5 ONE HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($140,000.00), TO 6 PROVIDE CAR WASH SERVICES FOR CITY VEHICLES TO BE 7 CLEANED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department has a need to purchase Car Wash Services to provide 10 locations to have the City of Little Rock,Arkansas("City")vehicles in the City's fleet cleaned;and, 11 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through a formal bid process, Event No. 548; and, 12 WHEREAS, after a competitive selection process with three (3) bids submitted, two (2) companies 13 were considered for Best and Final Offer(BAFO); and, 14 WHEREAS,the BAFO bidders were Riverfront Detail and Rue Holdings; and, 15 WHEREAS,the total cost of this purchase is One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars($140,000.00). 16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into Car Wash Services Contracts with 19 Riverfront Detail and Rue Holding, for a total contract cost of One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars 20 ($140,000.00). 21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Parts Contracts Account No. 600013- 22 63211. 23 Section 3. The terms and conditions of these car wash service contracts shall be consistent with the 24 BAFO specifications, and the agreements shall be in a form acceptable to the City Attorney in order to 25 ensure that the City's interests are met. 26 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 5. Repealer.
