3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TYMCO, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND, SEVEN
6 HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($629,775.00), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF TWO (2) STREET SWEEPERS FOR THE PUBLIC
8 WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has demonstrated a need for
12 two (2) Street Sweepers to replace one that has been decommissioned and the other is an aged, high
13 maintenance unit currently in the City's fleet; and,
14 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through the utilization of HGAC, Contract No. SW 04-20;
15 and,
16 WHEREAS,the total cost for the purchase of two(2) Street Sweepers is Six Hundred Twenty-Nine
17 Thousand, Seven Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars($629,775.00).
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into an agreement with Tymco, Inc.,
21 in an amount not to exceed Six Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand, Seven Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars
22 ($629,775.00), for the purchase of two (2) Street Sweepers to be used by the Public Works Department
23 Street Operations Division.
24 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are allocated equally in the 2020 Public Works Vehicle and
25 Equipment Accounts No.205409-72300-S40B632 and No 205409-72300-S40B615.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
