3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP,
5 INC.,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE
6 THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED NINETY AND 30/100 DOLLARS
7 ($139,290.30), FOR THE WARD 7 SIDEWALK PROJECT; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,Bids were solicited for the Ward 7 Sidewalk Project along Herndon Road, Project No. 7-
11 15-SW-407,Bid No. 838; and,
12 WHEREAS,Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone Construction
17 Group, Inc., for the Ward 7 Sidewalk Project in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty-Nine
18 Thousand, Two Hundred Ninety and 30/100 Dollars ($139,290.30), which is the base bid amount of One
19 Hundred Sixteen Thousand, Seventy-Five and 25/100 Dollars($116,075.25),plus 20%contingencies.
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
21 Use Tax Funds and the Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,803.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
