3 TO DISBAND THE ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE MIDTOWN
4 REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
5 ARKANSAS,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Roc, Arkansas, did establish the Advisory
8 Board for Midtown Development District No. 1 of the City of Little Rock and set the composition and
9 terms for its Board Members with the approval of Resolution No. 11,637(December 2,2003); and,
10 WHEREAS,the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock did amend Resolution No. 11,637 as to
11 the members requirements of the Advisory Board for Midtown Development District No. 1 with the
12 approval of Resolution No. 13,625 (January 8, 2013); and,
13 WHEREAS,the Midtown Development District No. 1 never began a Tax Increment Finance District;
14 and,
15 WHEREAS, the original purpose for the Advisory Board for Midtown District No.1 never came to
16 fruition.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors finds that the purpose and need for the Advisory Board
20 for the Midtown Development District No. 1 no longer exists.
21 Section 2. The Little Rock Board of Directors does disband the Advisory Board for Midtown
22 Development District No 1.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinance,resolutions,or parts of the same, included but not limited to
29 Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 11,637(December 2,2003)and Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 13,625
30 (January 8, 2013) inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of
31 such inconsistency.
