3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH L.E.G. ENTERPRISES, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR
6 THOUSAND,NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT AND 64/100 DOLLARS
7 ($284,978.64), FOR THE CHENAL PARKWAY SIGNAL AT CHENAL
8 VALLEY DRIVE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS,Bids were solicited for the Chenal Parkway Signal at Chenal Valley Drive,Bid No. 814;
11 and,
12 WHEREAS, L.E.G. Enterprises, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with L.E.G. Enterprises,
17 Inc., for the Chenal Parkway Signal at Chenal Valley Drive, in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred
18 Eighty-Four Thousand,Nine Hundred Seventy-Eight and 64/100 Dollars($284,978.64), which is the base
19 bid amount of Two Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand, Four Hundred Eighty-Two and 20/100 Dollars,
20 ($237,482.20),plus 20%contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
• 22 Use Tax Funds and the Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,803 and as
23 amended by Resolution No. 14,993 and herein.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
