3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ALL SERVICE ELECTRIC, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTEEN THOUSAND,
6 EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE AND 20/100 DOLLARS ($113,881.20),
7 FOR THE STAGECOACH ROAD EMERGENCY USE TRAFFIC SIGNAL;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited to install an Emergency Use Traffic Signal at the new Fire Station
11 24, Bid#742,and,
12 WHEREAS, All Service Electric, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with All Service Electric,
17 Inc.,for the Stagecoach Road Emergency Traffic Signal, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirteen
18 Thousand, Eight Hundred Eighty-One and 20/100 Dollars ($113,881.20),which is the base bid amount of
19 Ninety-Four Thousand,Nine Hundred One Dollars($94,901.00), plus 20%contingencies.
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from a Street Fund Special Project Account.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
