3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRAC WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION, NINE HUNDRED
6 SEVENTEEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED NINETY AND 90/100
7 DOLLARS ($1,917,590.90), FOR THE PURCHASE OF TEN (10)
8 FREIGHTLINER REFUSE TRUCKS FROM FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
9 DEPARMTENT SOLID WASTE DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division has demonstrated a need for ten(10)
13 Freightliner Refuse Trucks to replace aged,high maintenance units currently in the City's fleet; and,
14 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Arkansas State Contract No.
15 SP-19-0002;and,
16 WHEREAS, the total cost for the purchase of ten (10) Freightliner Refuse Trucks is One Million,
17 Nine Hundred Seventeen Thousand,Five Hundred Ninety and 90/100 Dollars($1,917,590.90).
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with River City Hydraulics,
21 Inc., in an amount not to exceed One Million, Nine Hundred Seventeen Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety
22 and 90/100 Dollars($1,917,590.90), for the purchase of ten(1 O) Freightliner Refuse Trucks to be used by
23 the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division.
24 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Public Works Solid Waste Division Operations
25 Account No. 603110-72300.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
