3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTARACT WITH POSITIVE RESULTS LAWN SERVICE,
5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE
6 THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR AND 80/100 DOLLARS
7 ($145,654.80),FOR THE OAKGROVE LANE SIDEWALK PROJECT;AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the Oakgrove Lane Sidewalk Project,from Valley Drive to Acorn
11 Place, Project No. 02-15-SW-81, Bid No. 629;and,
12 WHEREAS, Positive Results Lawn Service, Inc.,was the lowest responsive,responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Positive Results Lawn
17 Service,Inc.,for the Oakgrove Lane Sidewalk Project in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty-Five
18 Thousand, Six Hundred Fifty-Four and 80/100 Dollars($145,654.80),which is the base bid amount of One
19 Hundred Twenty-One Thousand, Three Hundred Seventy-Nine Dollars ($121,379.00), plus 20%
20 contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
22 Use Tax Funds and the Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,803.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
