3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP,
5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FORTY-
6 SEVEN THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED FIVE AND 40/100 DOLLARS
7 ($247,805.40), FOR THE BRECKENRIDGE DRIVE DRAINAGE
8 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for Breckenridge Drive Drainage Improvements, Project No. 04-17-
11 DR-207, Bid No. 628; and,
12 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone Construction
17 Group, Inc., for Breckenridge Drive Drainage Improvements in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred
18 Forty-Seven Thousand, Eight Hundred Five and 40/100 Dollars ($247,805.40), which is the base bid
19 amount of Two Hundred Six Thousand, Five Hundred Four and 50/100 Dollars ($206,504.50), plus 20%
20 contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
22 Use Tax Funds and the Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,803.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
