RESOLUTION NO. 12,029
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH MATSON
5 CONSTRUCTION FOR EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENTS TO
6 DUNBAR COMMUNITY CENTER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Invitation to Bid #5256 was issued for the expansion and
9 improvements to Dunbar Community Center, and Matson Construction submitted the
10 most responsive and responsible bid in an amount not to exceed One Million, Eight
11 Hundred Fifty -five Thousand, Five Hundred and no /100 Dollars ($1,855,500.00);
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
15 into a contract with Matson Construction, in an amount not to exceed One Million,
16 Eight Hundred Fifty -five Thousand, Five Hundred and no /100 Dollars ($1,855,500.00)
17 Section 2. Funds for this project are to be allocated from the $70,635,000 Limited
18 Obligation Capital Improvement Bond Issue (Series 2004).
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
20 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
21 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
22 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
23 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
26 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
27 of such inconsistency.
