RESOLUTION NO. 12,017
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDERS FORD FOR THE PURCHASE
5 OF ONE (1) FLAT -BED DUMP TRUCK FOR THE FLEET SERVICES
6 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department is in need of one (1) flat -bed dump
9 truck, and
10 WHEREAS, this flat -bed dump truck will replace an older, higher mileage unit
11 currently being operated by the Fleet Services Department, and
12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids under Bid #5261 for the
13 purchase of the dump truck, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid meeting
14 minimum specifications was received from Landers Ford in the amount of Fifty -four
15 Thousand, Six Hundred Nineteen and 50/100 Dollars ($54,619.50).
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into a contract for the purchase of one (1) flat -bed dump truck from Landers Ford, for
20 the amount of Fifty -four Thousand, Six Hundred Nineteen and 50/100 Dollars
21 ($54,619.50).
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from the 2005 Short -Term
23 Financing Account.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
25 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
26 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining

portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
