3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NUMBER 11,650
4 ESTABLISHING THE 2004 BOND PROJECT LIST TO AUTHORIZE
s THE CITY MANAGER TO PURSUE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
6 TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF RODNEY PARHAM
7 AND TREASURE HILL ROAD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, The 2004 Bond Issue provided for a traffic signal at Woodrow /I -630;
1 o and
11 WHEREAS, Arkansas Highway Transportation Department would not issue a
12 permit because the location did not meet warrants as set out in the Manual on Uniform
13 Traffic Control Devices; and
14 WHEREAS, the intersection at Rodney Parham /Treasure Hill does meet
15 warrants per the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and the 2004 Bond
16 Oversight Committee has recommended the project for funding.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to initiate a project to signalize
20 the intersection of Rodney Parham /Treasure Hill with 2004 Bond Funds that were
21 previously designated for a signalization project at the intersection of Woodrow /I -630.
22 Section 2. Funding for the project is available from the 2004 Bond issue in
23 Account #314 - 220 -TS19.
24 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
25 of its adoption.
