3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MAGIE FORD, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED FIFTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED THIRTY
6 DOLLARS ($58,630.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) FORD F-250
7 4x4 CREW CAB TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARMTENT
8 STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has demonstrated a need to purchase two(2)Ford F-250
11 4 x 4 Crew Cab Trucks to replace aged,high maintenance units currently in the City's fleet;and,
12 WHEREAS, vendor selection meeting the specifications needed, was made through the Arkansas
13 State Contract No. SP-19-0002; and,
14 WHEREAS, the total purchase price for the trucks shall not to exceed an amount of Fifty-Eight
15 Thousand, Six Hundred Thirty Dollars($58,630.00).
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager are authorized to enter into an agreement with Magie Ford for the
19 purchase of two(2)Ford F-250 4 x 4 Crew Cab Trucks in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Eight Thousand,
20 Six Hundred Thirty Dollars ($58,630.00) to be used by the Public Works Department Street Operations
21 Division.
22 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Public Works Operations,Account No.205409-
23 72300-S40B623.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
