RESOLUTION NO. 11,999
A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT FRIDAY ELDREDGE & CLARK AS
BOND COUNSEL FOR THE PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL REVENUE BONDS, SERIES
2005; (THE BONDS); AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS IN
CONNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to have bond counsel to work with the City to perform
legal work to assure the issuance of Solid Waste Disposal Revenue Bonds, Series 2005; and
and
WHEREAS, the City requested proposals from qualified firms to handle this work;
WHEREAS, a professional services selection committee has evaluated the proposals
received; and
WHEREAS, the committee has concluded that the law firm of Friday Eldredge &
Clark is the most qualified to handle the legal work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
with the firm of Friday Eldredge & Clark to act as bond counsel for this bond issue.
